The nightclub promoters guide web site was started by one of the UK's most successfully promoters from the last 15 years. Simon started promoting at the ages of 18 after an already successfully start in the club business as a DJ. The rave scene in the UK had just exploded and Simon could see the potential in putting on events to cater for the growing hunger the younger generation craved for this thumping music, "After my first experience at a small rave in Southampton, UK I was hooked. The music , the atmosphere captured everything I was looking for" says Simon, "There was not really any local promoters putting on nights so I thought ill give it a go".
For many years Simon promoted the scene but with the criminal justice act putting pressure on promoters of "Raves" He decided to start putting on events in club land. After the initial cold reception from club owners and managers regarding the genre of music he was championing he eventually found a club that gave him the opportunity to put on his nights. Starting with Fridays nights he soon was asked to take over the Saturday night as well. He also spotted the opportunity to promote more mainstream events through out the week. Starting with Monthly Wet T-Shirt competitions, theme nights including 70's and 80's and toga parties he captured the student and mainstream customers.
So here we are 15 years after that first "rave" and He is still promoting events on a weekly basis across the country. Now mainly licensing his brands and consulting to both club promoters and nightclubs.
